I work with adults who are struggling with unresolved pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, or life changes that leave them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. Whether you are navigating a difficult transition, processing past experiences, or feeling weighed down by daily stressors, therapy can provide a supportive space to heal, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.

Many people struggle with unresolved pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, or life challenges that leave them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. They may not fully understand what is causing their distress, but they know something feels “off.” Over time, these struggles can impact relationships, work, physical health, and overall quality of life. Symptoms may show up as increased stress, difficulty coping, emotional overwhelm, substance use, sleep disturbances, headaches, low energy, or changes in appetite. Seeking therapy and counseling can be a powerful step toward healing, helping individuals develop healthier coping skills, strengthen relationships, and build resilience.

Before starting at Life’s Waves Counseling, I had the privilege of helping individuals navigate difficult seasons of life, and it truly felt like the work I was meant to do. Although I entered the counseling profession later in life, becoming a therapist has been a lifelong dream. My own experiences have shown me the importance of mental health support, and I am grateful to now walk alongside others on their healing journey.

Throughout my career, I have worked with clients facing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance-related coping, and challenges with daily functioning. Many have struggled with trust, emotional regulation, socialization, anger, impulsivity, self-care, and relationship difficulties. Through compassion, unconditional positive regard, support, and thoughtful challenge, I help clients develop the tools and confidence needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I strive to meet clients where they are and provide personalized care that honors their experiences, strengths, and goals. Sometimes the most important part of counseling is simply having a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted.

My goal is to help clients learn, grow, heal, and develop the skills they need to thrive. I believe therapy should be collaborative, respectful, and grounded in compassion. Every person deserves to feel valued and supported. As I often remind clients, you are not alone, and you do not have to carry your struggles in silence. Healing is possible, and support is available.

Whether you are seeking trauma therapy, support for anxiety or depression, help navigating life’s challenges, or simply someone to walk alongside you during a difficult season, I would be honored to help. If you are considering counseling but are unsure where to begin, I am happy to discuss your goals and explore what the path forward may look like together.
